With a recruitment career that spans 11 years, including three years as a CEO and board member of a leading firm – Mathew is backed by a start in the trades, which led him to become director of his own company. Along with time as a national manager for another recruitment firm, he’s known for his recruitment muscle and industry vision. Mathew also has strong ties to the insurance industry and has recruitment experience in this field. Today, he’s one of the Fuse founding partners, with a view for passion and effectiveness.

With a start in the field of chemistry, Matthew has now spent more than seven years in science and technical recruitment – including four years running one of Australia’s largest science recruitment brands. Working first as technician and then into senior project management, Mathew brings with him extensive contact networks. Now, as one of the founding partners, Matthew’s focus on candidate care influences the Fuse approach.

Backed by a start in environmental and marine sciences, and time as TO for the city of Brisbane, Tyson reached state manager for a leading Queensland recruitment firm. Now, with the respect and contacts of the science community behind him, he leads the Fuse Brisbane offices.
